Theodore Karatz is a Managing Director of U.S. Acquisitions and Head of Build-to-Rent Acquisitions at GTIS Partners.  GTIS Partners is a global real estate investment firm headquartered in New York with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Charlotte, Munich, and São Paulo.  The firm has approximately 100 employees and manages $4.6 billion of gross assets under management.   

Mr. Karatz received a B.A. in Communication from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California and received a Masters in Real Estate Development from the Lusk School at the University of Southern California.  Mr. Karatz serves as a Trustee at the Millbrook School, in Dutchess County, New York, and at The Brick, a nonprofit visual art space in Los Angeles promoting contemporary culture.
