Matt Johnston serves as Co-Head of Single-Family Rentals and Build-to-Rent at Pretium where he also leads acquisitions. Prior to joining Pretium in 2021, Matt was a senior member of the U.S. Real Estate team at Elliott Management Corporation. Prior to joining Elliott, Matt was part of the Private Equity Fund Group at Fortress Investment Group and Eurocastle Investment Limited. Matt began his real estate investment career at Clarion Partners. He received a Bachelor’s in Economics and Finance from New York University.
